Julianne Markavitch-Caudle

Originally from Michigan, Julianne Markavitch-Caudle is an independent recording artist with six CDs of classical and sacred piano music available at CDBaby.com and Amazon.com. In promotion of her performances and recordings, she appeared on ABC's Sonoran Living and Arizona Morning on Fox. Julianne's career and recordings have been recognized by USA Today, The Arizona Republic, and State Press Magazine. Her CDs have also been featured on National Public Radio, as well as many classical radio stations throughout the country and in Australia.

Julianne is an alumna of the National Music Camp and Arts Academy at Interlochen, Michigan. As a finalist in the Quest For Excellence Competition, her performances were featured at Orchestra Hall and on WQRS Radio in Detroit. After graduating the Interlochen Arts Academy, she received her Bachelor of Music from the University of Texas at Austin and her Master of Music from the University of Michigan, both degrees in piano performance, with emphasis on piano pedagogy, accompanying and chamber music. Julianne studied with Dr. Sandra Camp, Charles Asche, Nancy Garrett, Amanda V. Lethco, Anton Nel, Jeffrey Gilliam, Joanne Smith and Arthur Greene.

Ms. Markavitch-Caudle has served as Artistic Director of her own piano studios in Michigan, Arizona, and New Jersey. She has also taught piano at the University of Michigan, Arizona State University, Scottsdale Community College, and Schoolcraft Community College. Julianne has held positions in several churches as an accompanist and music director in Michigan, Arizona, and New Jersey. She currently lives with her family in Hamilton, New Jersey, where she is the Music Director at First Presbyterian Church of Hamilton Square.
